Senior Executive Assistant to CBO

About the opportunity

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to our Chief Banking Officer, who will partner closely with the Executive and our Banking function and will be managing our CBO activities at N26 focusing on Banking function at N26 GmbH and our Bank GmbH entity. In this role, you will:

  • You’ll be partnering closely with our CBO on various business projects and topics by coordinating and communicating with various internal and external stakeholders
  • You will be the first point of contact for our CBO and you will coordinate requests with the CEO Office and other executive support staff.
  • You will be responsible to maximise our CBOs time and energy management including managing complex calendars and scheduling requirements, preparation and sending necessary meeting materials and the creation of meeting agendas, meeting notes and memos as requested. 
  • You understand priority/urgency and re-organize appropriately
  • Partner with other Executive Assistants and key stakeholders on driving efficiency and improved structure for the Executives and Founders of N26
  • Work together with administrative staff on financial administration for CBO as well as monitoring the preparation of travel arrangements, detailed itineraries, and providing the needed confirmations.
  • You’ll take responsibility in organizing team events, meetings and off sites.
  • When necessary you support content creation, in close cooperation with the teams and leaders.
  • You will coordinate and prepare public presentations/panels for the CBO
  • You will be actively engaging as a member of our Banking leadership team and you understand operational excellence in a regulated environment

What you need to be successful:

Background: 

  • More than 5 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry, dynamic and fast-paced environments are preferred
  • You have prior experience in working in a regulated environment, knowledge of German banking regulation is preferred
  • A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important, as is a good sense of humour
  • Previous experience with supporting Senior Managers or Leaders would be a plus
