PR & Communications Manager

scoutbee is looking for a PR & Communications Manager to join our Marketing team in Berlin. In this role you will develop and manage global PR programs that showcase the unique products, technologies and people driving scoutbee’s solutions for procurement professionals. This role will bring fresh ideas, smart questions, and an entrepreneurial spirit to how we communicate our product, technology and customer stories to key audiences. A demonstrated track record of executing successful public relations, strategic communications, or product marketing programs for enterprise software solutions is highly desired. 

Your role in our beehive

  • Develop unique stories and programs that spotlight scoutbee’s innovation through product launches and regular, day-to-day PR activities
  • Ensure that the content is consistent, newsworthy and supports our brand perception
  • Work with cross-functional teams to seek out potential news/announcements or proactive story ideas for thought leadership
  • Build, maintain and value positive media relationships
  • Ensure scoutbee is well represented at industry events, research reports and publications through interviews and speaking opportunities
  • Craft public statements, press releases, press kits and all other written material
  • Manage all PR, News and IR related parts of our website
  • Respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle emergency communications when necessary.
  • Measure our PR successes in relation to awareness and impact.

What you bring to our beehive

  • Experience in public relations, preferably in an international B2B enterprise software/technology environment 
  • Ability to develop strategic and proactive PR plans in collaboration with the leadership team and the wider organisation
  • Ability to understand and translate technology into public relations strategies, messaging, and compelling stories
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships with PR agencies and journalists on an international and daily level.
  • Excellent communicator with an understanding of how to create content that reaches multiple audiences. 
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with C-level executives.
  • Understanding of social media and demonstrated social content creation 
  • Solid organizational skills: proven capability to manage everything from strategy to details of day-to-day program execution
  • Fluency in English. Multiple languages would be a plus
