Your Mission

As part of NFON's efforts to become a leading player in voice-centric business communication, we are reorganizing our APIs and integrations. The goal is to provide our partners and end users with a state-of-the-art ecosystem of APIs and integrations that will enable them to automate, configure and control NFON products.
  • The role of the Senior product manager API and Integrations is to develop the product vision and break it down into actionable artifacts that deliver immediate value to the customer, making the vision a reality. Your task is to design a product out of the already existing APIs and integrations that excels in its user experience. i.e. is easy and productive to use and provides real added value for the target audience in their day to day business. Missing functions, interfaces and components have to be designed and added. New APIs should round out the future product.
  • To make the APIs and integrations a flagship of our product portfolio, you think along necessary support components like API gateways and concepts for effective API management. Conceptually, you also consider aspects such as monetization of APIs and integrations.
  • The provision of certain functionalities via IPaaS platforms is an integral part of the conception.
  • As the commercially responsible person in product management, you coordinate closely with stakeholders in the company. Especially with the contact persons in RnD you act at eye level and develop a product vision together with them and implement it in an agile mindset.
  • You involve your fellow product managers, sales, support, marketing, partners and other stakeholders in your considerations in order to successfully establish the most excellent product on the market. In this endeavor, you take care to incorporate feedback from API consumers and integration users into the further development of the product. Therefore, you also take into account accompanying aspects such as the generation of meaningful usage data and the structured and targeted analysis of the same and develop meaningful KPIs for this purpose.
