Junior System Administrator

The Corporate IT team maintains the IT infrastructure of SumUp's Berlin office. It supports users from all SumUp offices with their IT-related requests, often in cooperation with members from Bulgaria, the United States and Brazil. Furthermore, the team also ensures the best possible onboarding experience for new joiners, the thorough offboarding of former colleagues, as well as the procurement of anything IT-related and keeping track of our hardware inventory.

In this role you will:

• Master the complete onboarding process for new hires
• Order and prepare devices according to the employees’ needs
• Provide hands-on 1st and 2nd level support at the Berlin office as well as remotely to colleagues in any of our other offices
• Procure hardware that is needed to keep operations running smoothly
• Support your Corporate IT team members in more advanced tasks

What you'll bring along:

• Basis experience with running macOS and Windows in a business environment
• Basic experience administering cloud based environments (i.e. Microsoft Office365, Slack, Jira, Google GSuite, Microsoft Azure AD)
• Basic knowledge of IPv4 networks
• Experience with meeting room and office infrastructure installation
• Experience with support of any kind
• Passion for technology
• English is mandatory as you'll be part of a truly global organization
• Solid communication skills, being proactive and keeping cool under pressure

It's a plus if you have experience with:

• Experience with Powershell/Bash scripting
• 1st level IT support
