Your Tasks

  • You will be part of our innovative team, actively and responsibly shaping a future where every car is electric and shared
  • Ownership of the HV battery development for the Sion project
  • Definition of HV battery pack requirements for suppliers
  • Contact person for HV battery pack suppliers and internal team members at Sono Motors
  • Main responsibility for electrical, mechanical, thermal as well as CAN communication integration for the HV battery pack
  • Definition of DVP for battery pack on component and vehicle level
  • Ensure full functionality of the HV battery in the target vehicle considering all interfaces
  • Management of the budget for the development, testing and integration activities of the battery pack, in particular internal test benches, test equipment and costs for external test activities.
  • Growing the assigned personnel

Our Requirements

  • Technical university degree, preferably in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
  • 12+ years of experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities and topics
  • Team player with strong empathy as well as strong communication skills, analytical, intrinsic and well-organized work style 
  • Strong sense of urgency, priorities as well as strong accountability for a high volume of decisions to be made 
  • Collaborate effectively with internal interfaces to drive initiatives across boundaries and achieve the best outcome
  • Excellent problem solving skills, strong sense of quality, personal drive to succeed, and professional skills
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus) and very good knowledge of the relevant Microsoft tools
  • Sustainability is close to your heart, you like to swim in the open ocean and stand by your successes and mistakes
