DVP/Requirements Engineer - Body Closures (w/m/x)

Your Tasks

  • Responsible for the verification and validation of closures, mechanisms and sealing systems
  • Setup, development and update of requirements database and DVPs for Body Closures module, system and subsystems
  • Coordinate with internal crossfunctional teams to ensure legal and functional requirements are captured in requirements database and DVP
  • Manage prototype and production DVPs and coordinate updates with Lead Engineers
  • Create and distribute test reports for internal and external testing
  • Setup and development of test procedures for virtual and physical testing
  • Participate in vehicle level durability and reliability reviews
  • Coordinate with external partners to setup and manage virtual and physical testing
  • Coordinate physical evaluations and testing on prototype vehicles
  • Monitor and report DVP/testing status to project management

Our Requirements

  • Degree (BEng/BSc or MSc/MEng) in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in automotive projects for an OEM or automotive supplier/engineering service provider
  • Technical experience and familiarity with closures, sealing and mechanisms
  • Highly experienced in requirements, DVP & testing management and vehicle/system sign off processes
  • Excellent understanding of overall vehicle development and homologation process
  • Excellent project management, coordination and communication skills between internal & external partners
  • Proactive attitude, able to drive progress & issue resolution independently
  • Good ability to understand and interpret data and derive relevant actions
  • Experience with automotive processes and systems (DFMEA, PPAP, APQP)
  • Highly proficient using Google Suite, MS Office products
  • Practical/workshop experience on prototypes or vehicle servicing/construction is an advantage
  • Enthusiastic about sustainability, passionate about the products we are developing
  • Fluent in English. Good knowledge of German is desirable
